The city of Sopron, situated between Lake Fertő and the Sopron Mountains, is one of the most important holiday resorts in Hungary. The town can be reached in 2.5 hours from Budapest on highway M1 and the main road 85. Sopron is 7 km far from the western border of the country and 61 km far from Wien.

Hotel Pannonia is situated in the ancient Várkerület of Sopron. The hotel was built in 1893 in classical style. It is the oldest hotel of the city. It is famous for its visitor: King Ferencz József visited it in the XIX. century. The hotel was rebuilt in 1994 in its original style. The member of services was also increased.
In 1997 a new wing was built. You can find the newest services here: cigar room, garage in two levels for 49 cars, swimming pool, bubble bath, massage, fitness room, sauna, infrasauna, solarium and Beauty Farm.

The Hotel Pannonia has 62 rooms from single rooms with antique furniture to family apartments. All rooms contain bathroom (with shower or bath), hair dryer, minibar, colour TV and telephone. You can ask for bathrobe at the reception. The hotel is also confortable for handicapped people. Non-smoking bio rooms are available. In some rooms there is also internet access.
